Working Together North East is funded by the UK Government through the The North East Mayoral Strategic Authority (NEMSA) and is co-produced with Azure Charitable Foundation.
Working Together NE is currently at capacity and unable to take new referrals.
Who we are
Working Together NE supports people across the North East to take their next steps towards finding a job that is right for them.
We use tailored, one-to-one support to help individuals who are neurodivergent, disabled, have learning difficulties, or are struggling with their mental health.
Whether you’re looking for a career, or not sure where to start, Working Together NE can support you no matter where you are on your journey to work.

Working Together NE is designed to help with a range of social and economic issues – ranging from support searching and applying for jobs to interview prep, help accessing and understanding benefits, help with social inclusion, and support accessing public services, such as healthcare.

But, don’t worry, if the programme isn’t the right fit for you, our dedicated team will actively identify and signpost you towards other appropriate support services.
Working Together NE can be accessed by anyone aged 18 and over, there is no upwards limit.
Not at all. You don’t need to be diagnosed with any form of neurodivergence, or learning disability, to access support via Working Together NE.
